RhinoBall is Bolt Movie Game for iPhone and iPod Touch
November 3, 2008
RhinoBall game for the iPhone and iPod touch comes straight from Walt Disney Pictures new animal comedy “Bolt.” Rhino the hamster in a ball is on a roll and trying to get to his favorite TV super dog as fast as he can. Bolt is Walt Disney’s promotion of Bolt - a computer animated 3D movie that started playing in theatres on November 21st.
Bolt is a dog who has lived all his life on the set of a TV show in which he portrays a superhero dog. As a result, he thinks that his superpowers, and events on film, are real.
When he is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood sound-stage to New York City, he embarks on a cross-country journey to reunite with his owner and co-star, Penny. Along the way, Bolt teams up with a jaded housecat named Mittens and a TV-obsessed hamster named Rhino, and eventually he discovers that he doesn’t need superpowers to be a hero.
To play this accelerometer-based game, just tilt your iPhone or iPod touch forwards, backwards, left and right to guide Rhino through the city streets, avoiding cars and other obstacles on your way to the finish line. On your quest to meet Bolt, you will collect bonus lightning bolts and hit the launching ramps for a fully awesome adventure.
The game features awesome graphics, but the accelerometer tends to be a bit too sensitive and the game weighs 94.4 MB in size. Price: Free (download).
