Apple Inc Signs Deal to Deliver Products to Federal Employees

Palluxo! learns that Vertex Solutions and Apple Inc have signed a “Teaming Agreement” to deliver Apple products to Federal employees through the U.S. Office Personnel Management’s (OPM) Training and Management Assistance (TMA). The agreement stipulates co-operation between two companies to help Federal clients incorporate Apple products into “Blended Learning” solutions.
With the coming departure of the “Baby Boomer” generation, the Federal Government is in the process of attracting new generation of younger employees.
What a better way to train younger employees than with the range of products appealing to them, namely the iPod, iPhone and Mac. “We’re delighted to have Apple’s Government organization as part of our team,” said Jeff Kidwell, President of VERTEX Solutions. “This agreement is the result of several months of discussion, and I believe that this partnership will ultimately benefit TMA clients by improving workforce performance using leading technologies.”
