August 2, 2008

This is the second app to join millionaires club, just after the Facebook app reached that milestone on July 26. Both apps are free to download.
According to Tapulous, the developer of this app, “We have great designers, iPhone hackers from the good old days, award-winning Mac developers, and lots of entrepreneurial energy. Plus we have great investors, and we love them for believing in our vision: Andy Bechtolsheim, Marc Benioff, Jeff Clavier, Katrina Garnett, Khosla Ventures, Rajeev Motwani, Ben Smith and Rob Theis, to name a few,” - said Tapulous on its web site.
Tapolous said they will be launching additional apps in the coming weeks and months, with premium editions of their existing products and exclusive content for sale in the not too distant future.
As a special thanks to our the first million users and to everybody else, Tapulous is running a contest. The developers are giving away one thousand albums. Winners will be able to choose any music they like from Lala’s collection of more than 5 million songs. All you have to do is sign for a Tapulous Profile. Price: Free (download). In case you’re also interested in the Facebook app, you can download it here.
